The purpose of education is to teach a student how to live his life-by developing his mind and equipping him to deal with reality. The training he needs is theoretical, i.e., conceptual. He has to be taught to think, to understand, to integrate and to prove. He has to be taught the essentials of the knowledge discovered in the past-and he has to be equipped to acquire further knowledge by his own effort. Along with the theoretical knowledge that he acquires, practical knowledge too is important in the overall development of the child.
William Butler Yeats has rightly said, Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a Fire.We at NTRISH want to see the children in pursuit of knowledge and this we try to accomplish by the hands on theory in the form of field trips. Field trips are a valuable learning experience which helps children in visually seeing, what they actually learn in the classrooms.
We at NTRISH look for a holistic development in the children, both in the classrooms and outside. Field trips are a part of the curriculum in itself. Trips are organised both for educating and entertaining. Children are taken for field trips once every quarter.
“It is not how much you do, but how much love you put in the doing.”
We at NTRISH believe in the intergration of all the senses. To strengthen this ideology we emphasise Field Trips.
